Coaches reports:
Brad Begeman: After tonight we are 5-3. Two of our losses were to two of the better teams in the area: C-SE who we were tied with at 1:20 left in the fourth quarter..and lost to Illini West (were beating them by 4 at the half)...we are VERY young as we have started 4 freshman and 1 senior at games this year. Have some very tough games coming up--Canton, Palmyra, Macomb, Beardstown Tourney. Will continue to get better all season. Just are a young team while most of our opponents are senior/junior loaded this year. Girls are playing hard though!
Laurent Bentzinger: MS volleyball – Just had first practice with 22 7th graders and 17 8th graders. Will cut to 15 players for each grade.
Greg Hildebrand: 7th and 8th boys basketball: 7th is starting to come around – 8th is also improving and working hard. There will be three games next week, followed by a break until January.
7th girls basketball: Lost at state tournament by 1 point.
Next meeting will be January 8 in the MS cafeteria at 7:00.
Meeting adjourned by Andy Obert and Tammy Hildebrand.
