Minutes of Meeting November 11, 2105
The Unity Sports Boosters Club met on Wednesday, November 11, in the Middle School Cafeteria. President Obert called the meeting to order with 10 members present.
The secretary’s report was given by Sarah Donley, and approved after a correction by the club.
The treasurer’s report was given by Andy Obert and approved by the club.

Old Business:.
- Golf team taking over trivia night: Item tabled again until next meeting as no golf parents have been contacted.
- MVIT: contacted Paul Bealor of friends of Unit 4 about sending notifications for workers/ haven’t heard back yet. Missy Voth has been working on contacting people and Marcia Cornwell also. Hall Of Fame invitations have been sent.
- Playoff football program: Sports boosters sponsored an announcement in the football program. Attempting to contact Payson booster club to split the cost, which was $260.
- Memorial money: It was suggested to put it toward improvements to the scoreboard – Keith Carothers was supposed to be checking on adding name boards to the existing scoreboard.
- Golf coach stipend payment: The bill was received from school in a larger amount than approved. Seth
Klusmeyer will check with Brian Kurz about it. - Community Night: Peggy Duesterhaus encouraged everyone to attend the upcoming meeting to give input on JWCC, property taxes and the football coop.
Coaches reports:
Frank Cash: Boys basketball – 10 Varsity and 12 JV players began practice Monday.
Brad Begeman: 23-24 girls are out for basketball this year a couple are hurt. Looking forward to a challenging season with a tougher schedule
Seth Klusmeyer: 3 volleyball players were selected to all conference – Jordan Hildebrand, Kaylee Kuhn and Jordan Howell, Honorable Mention: Claire Rabe, Haley Miller and Piper Obert.
Meeting was adjourned by Donna Jansen and Tammy Hildebrand.
The next meeting will be December 16.
