Minutes of Meeting November 9, 2016
The Unity Sports Boosters Club met on Wednesday, November 9 in the Middle School science room. President Obert called the meeting to order with 11 members present.
The secretary’s report was given by Sarah Donley, and approved by the club.
The treasurer’s report was given by Kelly Miller and approved by the club.

AD & Coaches reports:
Frank Cash: Middle school girls’ basketball 8th grade appreciation is tomorrow evening. We will be hosting Hancock County tournament and both regionals. High school girls’ basketball girls have 25 out, boys have 20-21. Megan Adams placed 16th in Cross Country at the State competition.
Seth Klusmeyer: High school volleyball varsity ended at 25-11. JV 20-2 and won the south division of the conference. They had 18 straight wins. Middle school volleyball begins in three weeks.
Rob Kuhn: Middle school girls’ basketball is having two good seasons. The seeding meeting is tomorrow morning and are expecting two number 1 seeds.
Peggy Duesterhaus reported from the board that three people have been brought in for interviews for superintendent. An offer was extended to one of them, but no answer has been received.
The next meeting will be December 14 at 7:00 in the middle school cafeteria.
Marcia Cornwell made a motion to adjourn, Maria Connoyer seconded.

- Pratt Memorial: Frank still has not heard from Coach Krietemeyer. Tabled until December.
- MVIT: Brackets will be done after the Beardstown tournament. Hall of Fame letters began today.
- 3 on 3: The kitchen committee is on board. Greg Hildebrand not present at meeting. Frank will check with him.
New Business:
- Fundraisers: Maria Connoyer presented several ideas for fundraisers. Hy-Vee coupon books are a 100% profit deal, and buyers immediately get their $5 back using the $5 off $100 purchase. Suggested setting up a store with the Camp Point business for Unity apparel. Also suggested a youth league for lower grades to be held here. She also said that Greta Frankel suggested one of the high school teams could offer painting the large “U”s in yards. QND does it for $100.
- Concession accounts: Andy asked Frank and Seth if there is a way to simplify the accounts for concessions.
