Minutes of Meeting October 14, 2105
The Unity Sports Boosters Club met on Wednesday, October 14, in the Middle School Cafeteria. President Obert called the meeting to order with 11 members present.
The secretary’s report was given by Sarah Donley, and approved by by club.
The treasurer’s report was given by Kelly Miller and approved by club.
Membership: current membership is 71

AD Report: Frank Cash – Annika Lewis competed at the golf sectional in Springfield. She was the 2nd girl in Unity golf history to get out of regionals.
Friday night is Football senior night. 7th and 8th grade football will be introduced and it will be pink night.
Cross-Country has two more meets – regionals are a week from Saturday.
Coaches reports:
Seth Klusmeyer – Varsity volleyball is 17-6, 2nd seed in Payson regional. JV has a winning record.
Luke Maynard: about 25-30 boys signed up for Middle school basketball. Practice starts November 2.
Meeting was adjourned by Wendy Kuhn and Missy Voth.
The next meeting will be November 11.

- Discount Cards: There are still some that haven’t been turned in.
- Pork Chop Stand for Home Football game: October 23 – need workers? Workers have been found.
- Boys Basketball uniforms (High School): further info? Still don’t have a firm number, but close.
- Middle School gym mats: Total will be $4500 total to be covered by club. Motion made by Donna Jansen and Keith Carothers.
New business:
- Golf team taking over trivia night: Item tabled until next meeting as no golf parents have been contacted.
- Friends of Unit Four Fall Festival: was a success – student athletes were polite and helpful.
- 3 on 3: date was set for March 12, 2016.
- MVIT chair – Donna is making this her last year as chair. Missy Voth will line up rope holders for high school gym only. Food for teams will be pizza and Gatorade at the end of the tournament. Teams this year are Payson, Griggsville-Perry, Southeastern, Bushnell-Prairie City, Biggsville West Central, Knox County and West Prairie. FFA will direct parking. Sportsman Club will direct the parking of buses.
