Unity Sports Boosters Club
Minutes of Meeting September 15, 2010
The Unity Sports Boosters Club met on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in the Middle School Cafeteria.
President Goertz called the meeting to order with 8 members present.
The secretary’s report from August was approved after corrections from Julie, by Julie McAllister and Tammy Hildebrand.
The treasurer’s report was given by Julie McAllister. She reported a beginning balance of 26,402.70 with receipts of 1,097.14, and disbursements of 921.91.
The ending balance is 26,577.93, with 16,577.93 in the checking account. There are two $5,000 CDs. One is due in two days. Motion was made to move the CD to the
checking account to cover some upcoming expenses by Greg Hilebrand and Brad Begeman. Treasurer’s report was approved by Peggy Duesterhaus and Tammy Hildebrand.
Membership: current membership is 75
Old business:

Fencing:The repairs have been approved as a safety issue by the state, so the remaining costs will be covered.
·
Homecoming Float – about ½ done – working again Sunday 6:00-8:30 at Doug Duncan’s house
·
Tailgate:both games all pork chops were sold also selling water profit total of about $490.
·
Football PA system: sounds good.
·
Baseball scoreboard: Temporarily fixed.
·
Gym wall:almost done, Art II class has been working on.
·
Refinishing MS gym floor: should be ready next Monday

AD report: HOF committee will meet before the next meeting.
Girls’ basketball: Brad Begeman: 5th-6th and 7th-8thstarts next week. Good numbers in each. Thanked the club for the help with the girls’ new uniforms.
Next meeting will be October 20 at 7:00
