Unity Sports Boosters Club
Minutes of Meeting September 9, 2015
The Unity Sports Boosters Club met on Wednesday, September 9, in the Middle School Cafeteria. Vice President Wendy Kuhn called the meeting to order with 14 members present.
The secretary’s report was given by Sarah Donley, and approved by Mark Thompson and Keith Carothers.
The treasurer’s report was given by Kelly Miller and approved by Tammy Hildebrand and Keith Carothers.
Membership: current membership is 71
.
New business:
AD Report: Varsity football is 1 and 1, JV is 0-2. Crosscountry have had two meets. Megan Adams won the girls meet last night and Katie Conry was in single digits. Golf – different players are stepping up and doing well. 200 cards haven’t been turned in.
Coaches reports:
Seth Klusmeyer – JV volleyball is 3-1, Varsity 7-2. They won the gold pool at Southeastern.
Keith Carothers – Ms Softball finished at 9-2. They lost own they should have won to Southeastern and lost to an undefeated Liberty team.
Meeting was adjourned by Marcia Cornwell and Keith Carothers.
The next meeting will be October 14 at 7:00.

- Middle
School gym mats: Luke Maynard has a man coming tomorrow to price mats for
the middle school gym.
- Boys
basketball uniforms (high school): Tappe is coming tomorrow to price 30
sets of jerseys. Getting uniforms for
both JV and Varsity since the old varsity seldom fits the JV.Home and away will
come to approximately $6800, $3400 would be half. Lisa Thompson approved up to $3500 and 2nd
by Sherri Fuller.
- Mark
Thompson middle school football: The parents group agreed to cover the
remainder of the cost and will pay the expenses from their account. The parent group also assumed ownership of
the helmets, which means they will be responsible for having them inspected as
required.
