Membership: current membership is 84.
Old business:
· MVIT: Still waiting for the Country Financial sponsorship check, and have not received the Jimmy John’s bill yet. This year the gate was up and the referee expenses were up, due to more games.
· Trivia Night: Currently have 18 teams, completely full. Have received donations from Snap-On, cheerleaders and Fine Junque. Donna has some baskets from the middle school teams.
· Popcorn Fundraiser: Leftover bags of popcorn were distributed among the attendees.
· Krispy Kreme Donut Fundraiser: Brad Voth reported a $2500 profit
· 3 on 3 tournament: Invoices are out, Sterling has been notified about the trophies and t-shirts are being designed. Greg will find officials. – Sara Klusmeyer reported the kitchen prep is on schedule. Tammy sent registrations out.
New business:
· Basketball Shoot Away Gun 8000 Machine: All programs will be able to use. Superbowl fundraiser – profit was $1800. Bake sale brought in $305. Asking the club for half the cost, which is $3072. It was decided that the basketball teams would chip in enough to also purchase the computer module. Motion was made asking for $3072 and 2nd by Brad Begeman.
· Softball Uniforms: The kids have bought their own for the last two years. Will have to order before next meeting to have them for the season. Half the cost is $900 if they decide to purchase both pants and shirts. A benefit of the incoming players is that they have their own helmets, bats, etc., so equipment won’t be a big expense in the future. Currently have 18 signed up to play and next year will be a big class coming in. Motion made by Greg for $900 towards uniforms, 2nd by Sherri Fuller.
· Ashley Hackmann: Tammy suggested giving a $50 gift card for her baby. Motion 2nd by Richard Klusmeyer.
· Community brainstorming meeting: There is a meeting coming up Sunday at 6:30 at the Storeroom to discuss further budget cuts.
AD Report: No AD reports
Coaches reports: No coaches reports
Next meeting will be Wednesday, March 18th – t-shirt rolling and bagging will begin at 6:00, meeting to follow.
Meeting was adjourned by Sue Woodworth and Mike Jansen.
