Unity Sports Boosters Club
Minutes of Meeting November 14, 2012
The Unity Sports Boosters Club met on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, in the Home Ec room. President
Klusmeyer called the meeting to order with 11 members present.
The secretary’s report was read by Sarah Donley, and approved by Donna Jansen and Kelle Begeman.
The treasurer’s report was given by Julie McAllister and approved by Lexi Mayberry. CD renewal was
discussed – it was decided that it would not be renewed right now, but possibly revisit the issue after MVIT.
Membership: current membership is 60.
Old business:
· Score board: went out, Richard and Seth think the problem is easily fixable.
· Uniform form: Julie gave the form to Tammy to look at for review before turning
it in. Richard will follow up with Mr. Dorethy on the “Funds Request form”.
· Softball field: Greg not present
· Track& Football storage: will discuss at next meeting.

MVIT: § Bus Parking: The Sportsmens club.
§ Hospitality Room: Holly Klusmeyer and Melissa Obert will chair again. It will be in the Home Ec
room. ·
Cheerleader award – Susan Blickhan has checked with judges already.
§ Rope holders: still looking

§ Honorary coaches: Richard & Seth
§ Pizza: Sherri Fuller
§ Scorers, timers and announcers: Sue Woodworth

New business:

Trivia night : Mr. Littleton requested that the golf team be allowed to serve the meal since they
need the money. Julie made motion for meal serving to go to the golf team, motion
carried.
Coaches reports:
Paul Littleton: Will K. advanced to state meet and played well the first day and then it
rained. He was within 6 strokes of being in the top 20. He is expecting a full girls’ team next
year.
Sue Woodworth: MS volleyball starts December 3, depending on the basketball season
ending.
Lexi Mayberry: Three weeks until cheerleading competition. Suns Classic begins next
week.
Brad Begeman: JV and Varsity girls number 23 this year. JV is 1-1, Varsity 1-0. Monday and Tuesday at home next
week.
Greg Hildebrand: MS boys basketball – 7th is 0-2, 8th 2-2. 7th is improving. They played a good team fairly closely.
Fall sports banquet is Sunday. Sports Boosters will provide the meat.
Sue Woodworth and Brad Begeman made motions to adjourn the meeting. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, January
9th at 7:00pm.
